Love this collection....Feb 27, 2007

I saw the newer Crew 6 collection in a store and didn't like it nearly as much. It seemed cheaper. So I found this online. I much rather the Crew 5. It's great quality for the price. It tilts back so it won't fall forward when full. It has nice telescoping handle. Good height. Can fit as carryon. Comes with a toiletry bag...though I use my own. It also has a smaller zip pocket on the front of the bag...perfect for putting your boarding pass and cell phone/wallet if carrying on. You cannot do that iwth those suitcases with one huge pocket on the front.
Great organization and durabilityDec 16, 2007
By S. L. Wong I've had this piece of luggage for 2.5 years currently and have actually come back to purchase another one because my husband and I tend to fight over who gets to use it when we travel. It has many nice features to organize your things, including a garment bag, and is expandable. Once expanded though, it no longer qualifies for a carry-on. It has endured multiple trips to MD, CA, and even as far as Hawaii and Paris without much wear. It's a great piece of luggage!
avoid the bag with fragile handlesDec 11, 2007
By M. Burns I have used Travelpro products for 10+ years. Unfortunately, that trend will now end due to my experience w/ this bag. I bought this bag from another on-line retailer (LuggageOnline) in April 2007. The second week of use brought the first handle failure. A taxi driver pulled it out of the trunk and the handle snapped. I chalked it up to his possibly treating it roughly. Three weeks ago, though, the second (and last) handle broke. This time, I was handling my luggage, and the handle literally snapped off the bag and the bag did not have much luggage in it. These handles are attached to the bag with plastic. Seems like a major design flaw to me. I don't have the patience or time to deal with repairing the bag, so the "lifetime warranty" is useless to me. On to another manufacturer...
