Loved the case, too bad the durability isn't thereOct 06, 2008

I bought this case once the FAA passed the regulations for liquids in carry-on luggage. I didn't want to buy travel sized amounts of things like hairspray, shampoo, shaving cream etc. So we bought this case, figuring hard sided would protects these items, and keep everything separate from our clothes in case of a leakage.
Let me just say that I loved the case--its roomy, very stylish, and wheels well. Too bad after just 5 trips, the outer shell developed a huge crack in it. It is completely unusable, and Delsey would not honor the warrantee, stating that damage while on an airline is not covered. So, we're out $150 and need to buy another case.

Best Carry-On Suitcase!Jul 26, 2011
By Tina J Fuentes I bought the Delsey Meridian Plus Carry-On Suiter almost a year ago. I am a business traveler and am out of town 2-3 weeks every month. This is probably the best travel purchase I have made. The suiter is extremely lightweight and actually quite roomy on the inside. Though I have to be very meticulous about how I pack, I have space enough for business attire, casual clothing and shoes. People can't believe that when I go on a three-week business trip, I only carry-on... and only use this suitcase and my computer bag.
The one thing that could make this suitcase better is to have spinner wheels rather than standard trolley wheels. Since I can fit so much into the suitcase, it can get quite heavy and it would be nice to stand it upright to roll. However, it's a fantastic buy for business and personal travel.

Seems to be durableMay 21, 2011
By mokuloa If you travel frequently you will want luggage with fittings that last. I bought this because all of the name-brand soft luggage seems to be of the same poor quality these days. My last S-brand bag had most of the zipper pulls broken off within a year or two. This seems to fit the bill for relatively inexpensive hard luggage. It is not like the upscale stuff. The sides "give" when you press on them. What makes good luggage is how long the fittings and wheels last, and that remains to be seen. So far, I am quite in favor of the Meridian line.

Great Bag!!Dec 24, 2008
By Laci This suitcase is absolutely fantastic! I bought one for my mom (she flys about twice a month) and hates to check her bags. The Delsey has protected all of her belongings for the past 20+ trips and counting with no issues. I got the "red" which is actually a hot pink and she says she never has any trouble spotting it. It recently fell out of her SUV on to concrete and it didn't harm it at all! I am ordering one for myself!
22x15.5x9 = TOO BIGJan 20, 2012
By armypilot 22x15.5x9 = TOO BIG for some airlines. If you fly exclusively on one airline that allows that size, it's a decent little roller. It rolls easily, has a long handle, the inside is very nice, and it appears to made well with one exception. The front of the "hard" luggage is flimsy. However, if you are like me and fly a variety of airlines... it's simply too big for most.
