Improved!Jul 19, 2008
By Ruthann Zaroff The two biggest criticisms of the Fisher Bullet Space Pen were the inadequate clip and the slippery grip. Despite these two concerns, I was desperate for a decent pen that would fit into my BlackBerry case.
I am happy to report that both issues have been addressed. The new, improved clip (which is packaged separately from the pen) was so tight to fit onto the pen that I had to use the edge of my desk to push it on. It's there to stay! The improved grip is now a 1.25-inch area of concentric rings etched deeply into the metal.
Good going, Fisher!

awesome penSep 27, 2006

I just love this pen. It fits great in my purse or pocket and works better than pen I've ever used while making notes on a small notepad while hanging upside down from the rafters pulling network cable. My only complaint about this pen is the clip. It comes off really easily when I remove the pen from pocket and I can see it getting lost soon.

Great pen, nice size, clip isn't the best.Jan 11, 2007

I searched for the best pen that can fit in my wallet and eventually found this. It has a lot of good points: it writes anywhere (very good at writing on napkins and skin without drying up), it fits in my wallet, and it looks cool. The only problem is the clip. The clip isn't attached to the pen and it can slip off. It's pretty tight and slips are rare, but a few times I've pulled out my wallet and found that the clip is still there, but the pen is floating around in my pocket. I still love my space pen, though.

Great PenFeb 18, 2007
By William J. Bennett I own one of these as well as the chrome bullet model. Great pen. It fits in a pocket perfectly and refils can be purchased at any office supply store or department store. I have had the black one for about 7 years and in places the finish has rubbed of revealing the brass underneath. Bear in mind I am in the military and my pen has been exposed to some pretty harsh conditions. I think with normal use the finish wearing off would not be a problem. It took about 4 years of daily carry and use for it to become noticeable.

GREATEST PEN.Dec 22, 2006
By Christobear I was sort of pen freak for a while and I used to have a great Parker pen until I lost it:( I needed something to replace the pen I always had on me for years. I had seen this pen in several stores and then finally I had a reason to really research it, and then I went ahead and got it. I realized that because the clip is on the cap, the pen always sits upside down. Whenever I go to use it, it's always ready to go and writes without any delay. I don't think any other pen I've ever used ever worked as well. I LOVE matte black finishes and compact things (especially when I intend to always carry it with me in my bag or pocket) so this pen is perfect for me. I guess I have sort of small hands so it's a good size to write with even without the cap on. It's great that putting the cap on the end makes it a regularly sized writing implement for those with normal to large sized hands. I highly recommend it:)
