The photo may be misleadingFeb 01, 2008

I bought this item and have attached it to a camera bag. It is well-made and it is actually more comfortable than the strap that came on my Canon bag.
The Pacsafe Carrysafe 200 photo is not accurate. The Pacsafe 200 does not include the lock mechanism which is in the photo. It is the Pacsafe Carrysafe 300 which has the lock.
I have also purchased the Pacsafe camera strap (which was nicer and more comfortable and sturdy than the strap which came with my Olympus E510) and a couple other Pcsafe items as they seem to be very well-made.

I'm not really impressed. I was looking for a strap for my camera, more than for a camera bag. My fault for not reading more closely. This would work well on a bag as long as it had places to hook the loops to. But most bags have straps that are just as comfortable as this one, if not more so. I need something for my camera that does not say NIKON in huge yellow letters, and preferably is slash proof but also twist/memory free. The search continues.... at least now I have an extra heavy duty strap lying around.
