Lightweight, but sturdyJul 04, 2009
By Travel Buff Just what I wanted! It even fit under the seat on most planes. Even with my bad back I could lift up when it had to go in an overhead bin. The only negative was having to unfasten straps to get in, but I just left them undone--they don't get in the way. I liked it so much I have purchased the large 25" size suitcase. We have used the Eagle Creek folding boards for years, and love them. Thank you, Eagle Creek!

Perfect for business travelJun 17, 2010
By valihugs I took this bag on its first business trip last week and I am so glad that I did. To provide a little history, I chose this bag because of its weight to volume ratio. I investigated many (many, many) options before selecting this bag for purchase. In the end, it was the lightest which would carry my laptop, purse (for when I am not checking my main bag) and all the "stuff" I need for international flights -- headphones, change of clothes, etc.
I am happy to say that I remain pleased with the bag. I agree with some who have commented about the arm being a little flimsy feeling -- I think it is actually just flexible rather than weak fortunately.
I was able to fit an enormous amount of material in the bag including my textbook from a university class I am taking, my laptop, my coffee cup, keys (nice touch with the key snap), etc. I appreciate that it has two slots of smartphones since I carry both a business and personal cell phone.

pricey, but seems not sturdyJun 12, 2010

For the price, I was expecting something sturdier. Yes, it's lightweight. No, it's not always easy to stuff it under an airplane seat (maybe if I had lots of time to practice without a long line of people behind me waiting to get to their seats). The handle seems wobbly and locks unpredictably at different lengths. Rolls well over dirt and grass (which I cut through on the way to work).
