3Perfect for Packrats but Dangerously Exciting As WellDec 01, 2009
By Gillian N "Gillian"
I carry EVERYTHING with me because I always need to be prepared like a girl scout, so I must have a lot of different partitions to organize it all. This tiny bag has five separate pockets, and room to put stuff between the inside pockets as well.

The drawback is one of materials quality -- eventually the material of the inner pockets began to unravel at the edges, so bunches of little threads kept getting caught in the zippers, meaning that you have to be vigilant about clipping them off with scissors. I don't know if that's the reason why, but after I used the bag for about a year, the main outer zipper fell apart, and the bag would just pop open randomly, usually picking wonderful moments like while I was crossing the street, and I would have to try to grab all my stuff off the ground before the oncoming traffic reached me. (It was a little like a live version of the old video game Frogger, so maybe I should say that this bag is "Exciting Entertainment!! -- Thrills for All Ages!!" ? Ha.)

Anyway, despite the zipper failure and the unraveling pockets, I still liked the bag enough to order a new one on Amazon, and hopefully this one will last longer. I've noticed references in the reviews to a couple of different kinds of material that it's made of, and I think I got the wrong one -- there was only one kind available when I ordered mine. Ah well. Fingers crossed.

5My all-time favorite little bagAug 15, 2008
By Snow White "The pressure's on...let's cook something!"
I bought this bag in black 2 years ago, and like is so much, I recently decided to get another one before this style is no longer available. My new one is dark brown.

There are two exterior pockets. One has a magnetic snap, and is the perfect size for my cell phone, although I sometimes use it for my digital camera instead. The other pocket has a zipper closure, and holds my credit card wallet perfectly, as well as loose change. Inside there are 2 zippered compartments, as well as another zippered pocket. There's elastic loops for pens or lipstick, slots for credit cards (although I don't use them for that)and ample room for other items...sun glasses, comb, etc. The adjustable strap can be made long enough to comfortably wear the bag across the chest for hands-free convenience, or this bag can also be converted to a fanny pack, plus there are loops you can put a belt through.

At the store where I purchased the brown one, I noticed that this style is now available in "crinkle nylon". I'm glad I was able to get the microfiber, which is extremely durable. I have put the black one through a lot of use and abuse, using it almost exclusively for the past 2 years, but it is not showing any sign of wear.

The crinkle fabric looks and feels cheap in my opinion. I seriously doubt I would purchase one made of that material.

3Except for the Strap a great bag...Oct 10, 2009
By Christine Hanley "orangskies"
If you are looking at purchasing the Baggallini Large Wallet Bagg I can recommend it, however be warned that the strap can disconnect very easily. They used a very weak clasp to attach the strap to the bag and if you just hit it a certain way the whole thing falls off on to the floor. I have since "glued" the clasps shut. It only happened to me twice in six months but that was enough. Get the Microfiber version of this bag - the crinkle fabric is weak and won't hold up as well.

5Best Little Wallet AnywhereApr 13, 2009
By Marley's Mom
For the past 13 years i have used one brand of bag, have it in many colors, and thought it was the best. it had lots of pockets, everything reachable, organized and tidy; then i discovered Baggallini Wallet Bagg. It's the next 'perfect' bag in my life. I hope to buy it in many colors! The variety of ways to use this bagg is what makes it so perfect. As a physically challenged senior citizen, it is often difficult to shop or enjoy a museum etc with a handbag falling off my shoulder, and when using my wheelchair it is impossible to have a purse in the seat with me. Now my Baggallini goes around my waist, or across my chest with comfort and safety. Everything i need is inside where I can find it easily. No more hunting for cell phone, keys, or lose change, it all has a place, and it is easy to keep clean. I would recommend this to everyone, and i do.

2Not as great as I hopedJan 24, 2010
By Mom in California
I bought this for a trip. I wanted room for my cell phone, sunglasses, chapstick, plus all the credit cards, cash, id, etc. I wanted to wear it across my body for safety but the strap was extremely irritating to my neck. I wanted to wear it as a fanny pack but the strap would not stay cinched, so it would just slide down my hips to the floor. Since the fabric was soft, it became a strange fat lumpy shape as soon as a few things were thrown in. I haven't used it since returning from the trip, and am now in search of something similar but without the problems this one had.
