It's not that great!Mar 06, 2008
By S. E. Steele I looked at several travel pillow reviews and this pillow outranked them all. It is a very light and durable pillow for a good price, but it is not comfortable. It is extremely easy to blow up and deflate, but still not very comfortable. My father bought a pillow from Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $12 and it was much more comfortable than this one. In the end, nothing beats a nice comfy fleece jacket that you can smoosh and contort. If you must buy a travel pillow then I recommend going to a store and trying it out. Thanks and I wish you better luck than I had.

Huge differenceJun 15, 2007
By M. M. Jackson This pillow, while I have nothing to compare it to, made my transatlantic trip a sleepytime affair. Very nice. Slept nice. Not perfect, you have to sleep straight up, but very comfortable and supported! All that matters is the zzz's. Very good in that regard, perfect.

soft and comfyNov 10, 2006
By Baby Star Bought this pillow for a long trip. Gave good support while trying to catch some z'. The fleece cover is very soft on the face and neck. It is easy to blow up and deflate. When not in use, the deflated pillow is compact and easy to store in luggage. Eagle Creek always rules.

ComfyMay 12, 2007

I was a little worried with durability after reading other reviews already posted but, I've found nothing worrying so far.
I love the nice color...it's a crisp green that reminds me of the little tree frogs we have around here--and it's a cozy cover. I also really like the simple design for inflation and deflation. You blow it up with about 4 deep breaths and then if it's too hard/full then you gently push the little plastic flap to deflate the pillow. It'll take you about 4 uses before you figure out the exact amount of air you need for a comfy neck.
The only disappointment I can find is the size of the pillow when it's totally deflated. It is a little bulky with the cover left on, and would take up about the space of a regular sized paperback novel in your carry on. So, you can always take the cover off when packing and then put it back on when you're ready to use it. I've used it to support my neck while reading in bed and was so comfy I fell asleep about 10 words in.

Great travel pillow; great customer serviceNov 30, 2009
By S. Koerner This is by far the best travel pillow I've ever used. In addition to being super comfortable -- in part because it is adjustable, unlike other pillows -- it can be folded up when not in use, making it easier to transport.
Like other reviewers, I've had a few of the liners develop holes. But the pillow comes with a lifetime guarantee. All you need to do is call Eagle Creek's customer support, and they'll send you replacements FREE. I've done this four times in the last six or seven years, and they've never batted an eye -- just thanked me for the call and sent me a replacement.
Along these lines, I recommend buying two, so you're never without a backup. The liners do wear out, and it takes a week or so for the new one to arrive in the mail. If you have two, you're unlikely to have to go without.
