Earplanes Saved My EarsSep 28, 2006

I used to hate flying - it always felt like someone was driving an icepick through my ear. I have one ear that won't pop on its own no matter which trick I try (and I've tried them all.) This product is great - no more icepicks and I can fly pain free. You can wear them and still hear so not an earplug but does help block out some noise which is an added benefit. Definitely a must have item!

Pain-free flyingDec 09, 2007
By PenName For the last several years, I've been in severe pain for the last 30 minutes of every flight I've taken as the pressure in the airplane's cabin changes. I had to take an overseas business trip and dreaded the pain and temporary hearing loss I usually encounter after a flight. Some research on the Internet led me to earplanes and I just used them for my trip to France--what a wonderful product! I felt the pressure changes, but the occasional yawn fixed it! It's been ages since a yawn fixed pressure changes for me! I was so, so happy I can't even begin to tell you.
These soft earplugs have a valve at the end that relieve the pressure and still allow you to hear. The directions tell you to basically screw them into the ear canal before take off or landing (whenever you generally get the most discomfort). They are good for one round-trip flight (2 uses) and the manufacturer recommends no more than that for the best performance. They come in a handy little plastic case, too.
WorthlessApr 11, 2012
By Jennifer Can I review these things at less than 1 star?
Absolutely worthless! They provide no effect whatsoever in flight. You look like an idiot with these blue bars sticking out of your ear and the worst part is they are $7.99 in the airport. DO NOT BUY!
Only way to flyAug 22, 2008
By R. P. Hendriks For me this is the only way I can fly without really bad earpain. These plugs are the best if you can not relieve pressure in your ears by chewing or swallowing. Highly recommended!

By Chicago Gal Finally, I found something to stop the pain of airplane pressure. All my years of suffering and then not flying. This item should be promoted better. I did not even know they existed until someone recommended them to me. Free from pain while flying at last!
