What more can I say? I had ordered two, and merchant sent me one correct one and one incorrect one. I called them, and they very PROMPTLY sent a replacement and did not ask me to return the incorrect one (India->US adapter) which I subsequently gave to an Indian colleague to use in the US.

The adapter appears to be well made and fit for the purpose, but I didn't actually need to use it. It seems that most upscale business hotels in India have one or two power outlets that will accept a US (or even a UK) plug - or at least the four hotels I was fortunate enough to stay in did. (Of course these are still 240V.)
