This adapter arrived within 4 days of my order, and more importantly worked perfectly in South Africa from Johannesburg to Krueger to Capetown. Laptop, mp3 players, rechargeable batteries all kept in working order.

If you need an industrial strength grounded power adapter for use in South Africa this is the answer. I purchased six (6) for use in a trade show in South Africa and they worked perfectly.

This adapter worked perfectly for me in South Africa. I used it in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Kruger National Park to charge my camera battery and phone. I would recommend you only buy 1 and bring a 3-outlet splitter or power adapter with you then you can plug in all your electronics into 1 outlet.
