Useful on ShipboardOct 21, 2010
By Katharine Wilkins I recently returned from a cruise. I found the Laundry Pack very helpful since the little line built into the shower was not adequate to the amount of hand laundry I needed to do. My only criticism was that the suction cups on the line were just barely adequate. Adding a Tide-To-Go stick for stain removal to the pack would be very helpful.

Good for TravelAug 22, 2011

I used this pack while traveling through Europe for a 2 week period. I knew I wouldn't have access to a laundry machine or dryer, so I purchased this. It's very easy to pack. Setup is easy; just stick the suction cups to a flat surface, place the stopper over the drain, and pour the detergent into the filled sink. Once you've let the clothing soak for a while, just swish it around. To dry, gently wring water from clothing and hang it over the elastic clothesline - or thread the clothing through the twist for added security in windy conditions. Eventually it dries. The problem I had was mostly with the elastic clothesline. It's not sturdy enough for heavy fabrics, and it will either sag to the floor, or pop off the wall. I also had problems with the clothing drying too slowly and smelling like mildew, which really sucked. I think that you may be able to avoid the mildew if you're able to hang these outside in direct sunlight; I only had a bathroom available to hang them in.

Very convenient for international travelFeb 14, 2011
By Heather Runser This is a very handy kit for traveling on a short term trip overseas, especially in areas where there are no laundry facilities. It's simple design makes laundry easy. I love that the clothesline does not require clothespins!
