Best hat everSep 26, 2010

This is actually the second one I've bought. I bought one for myself about 2 years ago and it's held up completely. This second one was for my mom who also does a lot of landscape work. In Northern VA, the gnats become quite a pest starting in the spring and don't leave until the winter. When doing work around the yard they swarm everywhere.
This hat has been a sanity saver. While it's a bit disconcerting to see gnats crawling on the netting outside of the hat, it completely keeps them off your face. The netting has elastic you place under your arms so that the netting completely encloses your head and doesn't allow any entranceway for those buggers to get in.
The netting is well-made. If you aren't careful with it, it will probably rip but it has not ripped at all in the two years I've owned the hat and it still rolls up easily into the pouch in the front of the hat.
LOVE LOVE this hat. If the bugs bother you while gardening, this is something you need.

This hat is perfect for those horrible no-see-um days. I may not look attractive but I can garden and go to the park without the annoyance of those biting gnats. It was a great investment. The netting seems durable and does not obstruct my vision. In addition, the adjustable strap in back makes the cap fit perfect.

The Mosquito net hat quality was excellent and will serve its purpose in the veggie garden. I was surprise how quickly I received the hat once the order was placed. My overall experience was terrific.

This was a bad year for the skeeters and this product worked great for me!! I was able to go out with the dog and not spend most of my time swatting and cursing the bugs!

I love this mosquito hat. We have a terrible gnat problem in our yard that makes it very hard to enjoy outdoor activities. This hat is the perfect solution. Now I can garden, play with the kids, or just sit outside in comfort.
