I've got a couple of these that I use on my messenger bag, camera bag, and carry-on duffle. They are comfortable and hold up with daily use. It is especially nice to be able to secure your gear to a fixed object and lock your bag without having to remember to bring along an extra lock and cable. A great item both for travel and the daily commute.

I bought a few of the Carrysafe and related products for a recent trip to Rome, Italy. I do a lot of photography and tend to forget everything else whilst doing so. This strap meant I could put all my bits in my camera bag as I have a habit of doing and then shoot away confidently. The quick release was useful for locking the camera to chairs/tables and so on when eating at open air restaurants next to busy Piazza's...a prime spot for the opportunistic thieves.
The key for me was the confidence to push concerns about pickpockets etc to the back of my mind and just have fun. Highly recommended (along with the wallet on a chain).

Once I finally received the correct item from supplier, I was very pleased with the item. Too bad that I had to buy it in the first place. PacSafe should have included a soft cushioned, padded shoulder pad on the strap with the bag in the first place but they didn't.
Anyway, I ordered this strap only because of the cushioned pad that I needed. The bare strap that came with the bag cut into my shoulder and also caused the bag to slip around excessively.
But when I received my order it was not my shoulder strap with pad. Instead the supplier sent me another, totally different bag! They did email me a return UPS label but unfortunately, I had to drive into town to a UPS drop off store and pay an additional $2 charge for the drop off. I have yet to be reimbursed for that fee.
Eventually, I received the correct item (shoulder strap with pad) and I am pleased with it and can now carry my bag comfortably.

I got this to secure my non-Pacsafe carry-on (Memo to Pacsafe. Please increase the dimensions of your Metro-safe 400 to the universal carry-on size of 22" x 14" x 9", so us one bag carry on people can use it). Yeah it is not a comfortable as my Travelon shoulder strap, but then I got it for security and, besides, it is reasonably comfortable. I just will not use it for long treks without a lot of breaks.
