Worked for me all over South AfricaNov 25, 2009
By Afan of Sitagyl Manor In conjunction with a voltage converter, I used this on a lengthy birding and safari tour in October 2009, for charging camera batteries and running a netbook computer. Another birder from North America brought the wrong adapter plug, so be careful! This one is the right one to use.

By KG I used three of these adapter plugs while traveling throughout South Africa in March. They worked in Four different hotels with no problems. We were able to connect all of our chargers, appliances, phones, MP3 players, and computers at the same time.
