This Stashsafe 100 is a Quality ProductJul 02, 2009
By C. West Going to Europe soon and need a way to deter pickpockets and keep my "stuff" secure. I found the Stashsafe 100 and have been very pleased with my purchase. These are quality products, very well made. The Stashsafe 100 has a slash proof belt and a slash proof front pocket that is lined internally with stainless steel netting to help thwart intrusion by potential thieves. Lots of pockets and pouches to store your credit cards, passport, camera (pocket size) and other odds and ends you want to take with you. The pockets can be zipped up and locked with a brass lock secured to the waist strap for added security. My waist size is 38" and the belt fits comfortably, but if you are much over 40" it might be a tight fit. If you are looking for a secure fanny pack, this is it.

pacsafe fanny packAug 27, 2010
By Shawn M. Harvey Went to St Maarten last Dec. I could fit two passports, money, credit cards, and small camera in pouch. I was very glad to have it. We locked it to two beach chairs and a cooler and then went for a walk. Figured if someone was going walk away with two beach chairs and a cooler, good luck to them! At another time, we locked it to the window bars in the villa we were staying in. It was an excellent purchase. Thinking about making another pacsafe purchase of a larger item, so I can have another that holds a larger camera and a few more items. I highly recommend buying one of these if you are travelling. Also, thought I would have trouble with airport security, but didn't have any problems.

Great Fanny PackJan 14, 2012
By Self Help Specialist Have had this fanny pack for probably 8 years. My first one had a problem within the year warranty and Pacsafe shipped a new one at no charge.
Pros: Great peace of mind-recently went on a trip and just locked it to the bed. Basically keeps the honest people out of your things. Have lost it three times, backtracked and found it at lost and found and twice the clerk said "Oh, the locked fanny pack" even though it wasn't locked. It appears to be with a small lock in place but you need to interlock the zipper handles and stainless braid to fully lock it. That's a hassle if your accessing your wallet, credit cards and checkbook while shopping. Point is that people see the lock, they're honest and don't look any farther. Each time returned with over $50 cash in the non lockable pocket.
Has plenty of space for wallet, pill boxes, keys if you want, two secret compartments. In fact, many, many times I find that I have not zipped the outer pocket and wallet is still just sitting there, hasn't fallen out or moved at all. So I rezip and move on.
Con--If your waist or hip size is over 36 inches, you'll need the extender which is non lockable. You snap it in and out so you can still lock it to something immovable but your belt can be opened while you are wearing it. You have 42" of belt and pack. NO stretch. Run a tape around where you wear it, add a little for the flatness of the pack and go from there.
hip packOct 15, 2011
By lou-lou I recently purchased the Anti-Theft Hip Pack for a trip we were taking. It worked out great. It wasn't too big or long. I was able to get what I needed in it. The extra little zipper pockets were good to put small items in and not lose them. Our passports fit inside one of the pockets and I knew that they were secure. All in all it worked out great and wasn't too big or bulky. I would recommend it for anyone.
