Expensive but well madeNov 30, 2011
By Luke Fairfield I have used my bottle bandits extensively over the last summer. I can quickly clip and unclip the caribiner to my belt loop or luggage while walking or traveling. The heavy duty rubber loop has accepted many different water bottle sizes purchased from Costco, the local grocer, airport kiosks, Starbucks, and so on. I keep one in each of my traveling bags - a laptop roller, an over-the-shoulder laptop bag - and one on my home office desk.
It holds bottles firmly. Some children may have trouble pulling the loop over the bottle neck, and may need assistance. With a couple of practices and perhaps re-attaching the bottle bandit by flipping it over on the bottle, you quickly get the hang of attaching and releasing the caribiner to your belt loop or luggage in the style that's most efficient for you.
Its price for three is pushing awfully close to the edge of its value, which most folks may find too expensive, however, it is well made. After using these for eight months (Mar-Nov 2011) they each have performed well with no apparent stretching of the rubber loops or malfunctioning of the caribiners. This is one of those items that can take a little stress out of your traveling or vacation day.
At this time, I have not been able to find a better deal for these from anywhere else. I have found these on the Internet as a single and not a three-pack. But, if I'm going to pay $5 for one plus another $4-6 for shipping, I'd rather lower my "product-to-shipping ratio" by buying the three pack for $15 and getting two extras, as I will still put the extras to good use. I wish these were available via Amazon Prime. Darn.
Just before writing this review, I ordered two more sets as gifts for Christmas. And no, I am not affiliated with Bison, just a happy customer.

The bottle carriers were exactly what we expected - except we had missed the very small print that we had ordered 3 of each instead of one. We returned the extra ones, for credit - but to date have not received any acknowledgement, and no credit. How do we receive the credit???
Bottle Bandits are GREAT!Mar 13, 2008
By storybook*story I've been using bottle bandits for many years. I still have ones that are 3-4 years old that still work. They are great in the summer for making sure you always have enough water while hiking or at summer fairs.
$12 is an outrageous price though. Shop around - they should be about half that price!
busted before useJun 28, 2007
By Carol Chesney I bought this at an LL Bean store and clipped it to my belt. The carabineer slipped it's spring before I got home.
