Like some of the reviewers, I'm also short, 5'3" and have trouble sitting at business conferences. Usually at hotels, the chairs were designed for men. Too tall for me. So I bought one of these folding footrests. It made my handbag heavy. When it's already stuffed with the things you pick up at a conference, heavier isn't a plus. But most important, it was wobbly, especially on carpeted hotel floors. Instead of adding to my stability, I was clenching my back to keep my foot steady on top of it. Two feet on it was not good at all. For me, an error buy. But maybe that's just me.

I purchased this footrest to take to a 4-day conference. (Since I'm only five feet tall, I'm always uncomfortable when sitting for long periods because my feet don't touch the floor.) It worked great--it was small enough to fold and tuck into my bag, and yet big enough to provide a comfortable spot for my feet to rest when sitting. I highly recommend it.

After many flights with back pain due to my toes just reaching the floor, I finally bought this foot rest. I had seen them online before and not wanted to spend that much on a foot rest. (Learn from my lesson: buy sooner rather than later and save yourself the back pain!) It's not really wide enough to keep both feet on all the time, but just elevating one is enough to keep the strain off my back. I use it under my desk when I'm not traveling.

I use this for my feet at my computer desk and it's perfect. It's small and sometimes tips over, but I've become used to it and couldn't work without it. Elevates my legs so they don't hang down and hurt from sitting all day. Even folds up to take to the theater where seats are built for giants. Word of warning: if you take it to the theater, secure the ends open with rubber bands (this works) as it can fold up on you accidentally and make a terrible racket.
