Victorinox - Drop Bottom duffleOct 04, 2007

We decided to splurge on decent luggage for our trip to Europe. What with all the new rules and regs regarding number of pieces of luggage on European airlines, we wanted one that would hold it all AND be able to keep some things from getting smooshed. I like to keep trip emphemera so the drop bottom was perfect for this. Not a wrinkle on any of my bits and baubs. As for holding stuff? Wow! If I didn't need to bring three formal outfits it could easily handle 3 weeks of normal clothing plus plenty of shoes. Now for the hard part... how much would it weigh? I was terrified getting to the airport, I just knew I had gone over the limit, but what I could I do? I really did pare it down and bring only essentials. I put it on the scale.... 59 pounds!!! Woohooo! And truly I did pack the heck out of it. So the lightweightness of the bag itself really did come in handy.
So if you're looking for a big bag, that weighs very little, can hold a lot and keep it safe, this is your bag. We bought two of them and now I'm going back to buy the rest of the set.
Oh and it rolls like it's on buttah!!
